This Shield vs Hydra lenticular mosaic measures 45 x 40 inches, nearly 16,000 pieces and weighs 12 lbs.  Total build time including design and construction was 75 hours between two builders, Richard Glatter and Ashley Holley.  The design was based on previous builds by Arthur Gugick.  A lenticular mosaic is a type of mosaic where you see one image on one side and the other side you see another image, this effect is achieved using cheese slopes in this case.

This image is a front view which you can see both images.

Shield Vs Hydra

This image is from the SHEILD side.  you can still see the hydra logo the further to the right you go the more the sheild logo comes into focus, and less of the hydra logo you see.  See the video at the bottom of the post for a better demo of that effect.
